This is an awesome place to live it teaches men how to live in society and how to be responsible for who they are and how to live a clean and sober lifestyle. I've been there a year and I love it and call it home.Calvin
Great people to be around in recovery. Was 1 month clean and no place to go. The Door welcomed me with open arms and backed it up with unconditional love...allowed me to claim my life back. And taught me to walk in authority to raise my head high and say...addiction you have no hold on me ...Matthew
I'm a person that has been through the door and I have to say without their help I probably wouldn't be sober today but now I am three years sober with their help and manage care mash unit where I now help others to try and recover.Jay
Recovery isn't for people who need it. Recovery is for people who want it. The Door supports people who WANT IT!James
Staying at the door for over 2 years built me strong!Kenneth

I have just over a year sober at the time of this writing, and a good portion of that credit goes to The Door. I have stayed at a couple of other 3/4 houses, and this one is by far the best. It is a very safe environment, in the 8 or so months I was there, I never saw any drugs or illegal activity. They drug test often, and randomly. They offer recourse for jobs and meetings, and will help you any way they can. They will push you to remain productive, if you don't get a job, or go to enough meetings, do not expect to stay here. They walk the line between to much structure or to much freedom perfectly. If you are looking for a place to bridge the gap between rehab and Independence, or just need some structure in a safe place, I would recommend the Door.Anonymous
The Door, there is volumes to speak of, in my gratitude and thankfulness for this place. the leaders are outstanding in there commitment to help you be you, without the use of mind altering mood changing substances. They welcomed me with open arms, for the broken person i was. I was homeless, on the verge of a divorce, with no hope in sight. All I knew is that I wanted to stop using. I have 1 year 121 days 21 hours and 17 min. as of this post. I've reconciled my marriage and she has stuck by me through all of this, I have a slammn job, with the promise of promotions. and I have to give praise to God for speaking thru them to reach me. Thank you to the Door.Matthew
